I was living in Beijing, China on the thirteenth floor of an apartment building next to 798 factory in Dashanzi District. On rare occasions during the day when I was home the window overlooked a Panasonic plant covered in smog. On the ground level was a high tech supermarket. Every night around 20.00hrs some old people gathered and danced on music that they played on a ghettoblaster. The supermarket was closed but the neon signs turned the parking lot into some vibrant dancefloor. I usually passed by on the way home after a lonely dinner. This picture was taken on 13 oct 2005
